Physical Therapist - Outpatient

We are hiring Physical Therapists for outpatient rehabilitation opportunities with MyMichigan Health at multiple locations across Michigan. The role is primarily outpatient, with opportunities to float to acute care as needed.

Locations: Sault Ste. Marie, Alpena & Tawas City, MI
Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent
Schedule: Days | 9:00 AM–5:30 PM, with flexibility
Pay: $37+/hour, based on experience
Sign-On Bonus: $20,000 with a 2-year commitment

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients through formal and informal testing and determine functional needs.
• Develop individualized treatment plans and update goals based on patient progress.
• Provide therapeutic interventions to improve or restore optimal patient function.
• Educate patients, families, and caregivers regarding conditions, treatment plans, and home exercise programs.
• Coordinate care with physicians, PTAs, aides, and other healthcare professionals.
• Supervise PTAs, aides, students, and other support staff as required.
• Maintain accurate clinical and billing documentation.
• Participate in interdisciplinary meetings, process improvement, and program development.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree required.
• Current Physical Therapist (PT) license required.
• BLS preferred within 1 month of hire.
• Strong communication, organization, time-management, and clinical skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
