Join a small, family-owned warehouse team in a general labor role that focuses on order selecting, picking, and material handling using pallet jacks in a refrigerated and freezer environment. You will move, load, and unload various products throughout the warehouse, handle paper pick tickets, and regularly perform manual lifting while supporting efficient and accurate order fulfillment.

Responsibilities

  • Operate manual and electric pallet jacks to move loaded materials safely throughout the warehouse.
  • Select and pick orders accurately using paper pick tickets, ensuring correct items and quantities are gathered.
  • Load and unload trucks by hand, handling boxes, crates, and other materials as needed.
  • Lift boxes and other items weighing approximately 20–70 lbs regularly throughout the shift, and up to 80 lbs on occasion depending on the order.
  • Wrap, palletize, and label products and pallets to prepare them for storage or shipment.
  • Perform packing and packaging tasks to ensure products are securely prepared for delivery.
  • Handle warehouse inventory, including counting, organizing, and staging products in designated areas.
  • Use RF scanners when required to scan, track, and verify inventory and orders.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area within refrigerated and freezer spaces.
  • Work an evening shift starting at 8:00 p.m., typically 8–10 hours depending on workload and staffing.

  • Willingness to work an evening start time (8:00 p.m.) and complete 8–10 hour shifts, including overtime when required.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience using RF scanners for inventory and order tracking.
  • Previous work in a small warehouse or family-owned business environment.
  • General warehouse skills including packing, packaging, inventory handling, picking, unloading, and palletizing.
  • Attention to detail when reading paper-based documentation and labels.
  • Reliability and consistency in attendance for evening and extended shifts.

Why Work Here?

You will join a small, family-owned operation that values teamwork, reliability, and a supportive atmosphere. The refrigerated environment offers a comfortable workspace during warmer months, and the close-knit team structure allows you to get to know your coworkers and contribute directly to day-to-day operations. This setting provides steady hours, opportunities for overtime, and a stable role within an established warehouse.

Work Environment

The role is based in a refrigerated and freezer warehouse that is very cold in most areas, providing a cool environment especially during summer months. You will work an evening shift starting at 8:00 p.m., typically lasting 8–10 hours depending on workload and staffing levels, with overtime possible. The warehouse staff consists of roughly 15–18 employees across various shifts, creating a small, close-knit team environment. Work involves frequent manual lifting, operation of pallet jacks, and movement throughout the facility, so attire should be practical and suitable for cold temperatures and physical activity.
