What We’re Looking For:
- Active North Carolina OT license required
- OTR credential
- Previous experience in school-based or pediatric OT preferred
- Strong communication and team collaboration skills
- Ability to adapt to the varying needs across K-12 populations
- Capable of working efficiently across multiple school sites
Responsibilities Include:
- Conduct thorough assessments to identify students' needs
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Deliver direct therapy to students, helping them access their curriculum
- Work collaboratively with teachers, special education staff, and families
- Maintain detailed records and contribute to IEP meetings
- Travel between multiple school locations within the district as part of your weekly schedule
- Stay current with best practices in OT for school settings
