LHH is partnering with a small company that is rapidly growing who is looking for a temporary to hire Senior Accountant. You will be managing the transactional tasks for the accounting department and be putting together the financials for the management team. The ideal candidate will have a bachelor's degree in accounting and at least five years of progressive accounting experience. This position offers the chance to get in with a growing company and build processes. This is a hybrid position after training in Tacoma, WA. Responsibilities:

The Company will consider qualified applicants with arrest and conviction records in accordance with federal, state, and local laws and/or security clearance requirements, including, as applicable:
- Manage the monthly, quarterly, and year-end close process, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting.
- Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, and general ledger activity.
- Maintain financial records and ensure compliance with GAAP and company accounting policies.
- Process accounts payable, accounts receivable, and cash management.
- Prepare monthly financial statements and provide variance analysis to management.
- Monitor cash flow, forecast financial needs, and assist with budgeting processes.
- Support annual audits, tax filings, and requests from external auditors and regulatory agencies.
- Reconcile bank accounts, credit cards, fixed assets, and other balance sheet accounts.
- Ensure sales tax, business licenses, and other compliance-related filings are completed accurately and on time.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in a small or mid-sized business environment.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting requirements.
- Experience managing the full accounting cycle, including month-end and year-end close.
- Proficiency with accounting software and ERP systems such as QuickBooks, NetSuite, Sage Intacct, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar platforms.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, and financial analysis.
