Job Description
Job Title: Cleanroom TechnicianJob Description

Join a fast-growing medical device operation in Auburn Hills as a Cleanroom Technician, helping produce oxygen concentrators that support critical patient care. In this role, you perform washing, assembly, and disassembly of components, follow detailed manufacturing procedures, and rotate through various areas of the warehouse to learn multiple tasks. The work is straightforward, involves limited use of hand tools, and requires strong attention to detail and adherence to quality standards.

Responsibilities
  • Perform washing, cleaning, and preparation of oxygen concentrator components prior to assembly.
  • Assemble and disassemble medical device parts using basic hand tools, following step-by-step instructions similar to furniture assembly.
  • Read, understand, and follow written manufacturing procedures in English from procedure booklets.
  • Inspect components and finished products to ensure they meet quality standards and are correctly assembled.
  • Rotate through different areas of the warehouse and cleanroom to learn and perform various production tasks.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workstation while working with equipment and materials that may arrive dirty.
  • Support dock operations as needed by helping unload and load freight and handling returned product.
  • Follow all cleanroom protocols and production guidelines to ensure a controlled and compliant environment.
  • Demonstrate strong attention to detail, especially given the critical nature of oxygen containers.
  • Adapt to changing work needs and schedules, including flexibility between 8-hour and 10-hour third-shift schedules.
Essential Skills
  • Ability to read and understand written instructions in English and clearly articulate them back when needed.
  • Experience performing basic hand assembly tasks, following step-by-step instructions similar to furniture assembly.
  • Strong attention to detail to ensure oxygen containers and related components are assembled correctly.
  • Comfort using basic hand tools for assembly and disassembly work.
  • Ability to perform general production, cleaning, and washing tasks in a manufacturing setting.
  • Capability to conduct basic inspection and quality checks on parts and assembled products.
  • Willingness and ability to work third shift on either an 8-hour (10:00 PM–6:00 AM) or 10-hour (8:00 PM–6:00 AM) schedule, Sunday through Thursday.
  • Physical ability to move throughout the warehouse and cleanroom and assist with unloading and loading freight as needed.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
  • Preferred experience working in a manufacturing and assembly environment within a cleanroom.
  • Previous exposure to medical device production or other highly regulated manufacturing environments is beneficial.
  • Experience in general warehouse operations, including handling incoming and returned goods, is a plus.
Why Work Here?

You join a fast-growing organization with clear opportunities for advancement as production volumes and orders increase. After 90 days, you transition to a direct role and receive a pay increase, with potential for further growth over time. The team is moving into a brand-new warehouse that is twice the size of the current facility, offering an upgraded, modern workspace and long-term stability in a thriving operation.

Work Environment

This role is based 100% in a cleanroom environment within a newer warehouse facility. Conditions can be warm in the summer and cold in the winter, but the overall space is relatively clean and well maintained. You primarily work in the cleanroom, while occasionally supporting the dock to unload and load freight as needed. Some components, especially returned items, may arrive dirty, so there is a possibility of getting dirty during the day, though maintaining a clean and orderly workstation is expected at all times. The position operates on third shift with either an 8-hour (10:00 PM–6:00 AM) or 10-hour (8:00 PM–6:00 AM) schedule, Sunday through Thursday.
