Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution
- Valid Colorado Department of Education Certification
- Current Colorado SLP License (Speech-Language Pathologist, Speech Connectionist, or Speech Therapist credential for ages birth–21)
- Thorough understanding of mild to moderate caseloads and experience (or readiness) to serve diverse student populations
- Proficient with IEP documentation and progress tracking
- Successful completion of required background checks through the district website
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech and language therapy to students (caseload specifics and school assignments to be determined)
- Evaluate, diagnose, and treat communication disorders in children and young adults
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Consult and collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support student progress
- Maintain compliant, timely records and reports
- Participate actively in IEP meetings and professional development activities
