Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current state licensure as an SLP (or eligibility to obtain)
- Previous experience working in a school setting, serving K-12 student populations
- Strong knowledge of IEP process and compliance requirements
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Ability to adapt therapy approaches to meet diverse student needs
Role Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough speech and language assessments for students referred for services
- Develop, implement, and regularly update individualized treatment plans and goals
- Deliver direct therapy to students in individual or group sessions
- Consult and collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to ensure student progress
- Maintain accurate documentation and participate in IEP meetings, presenting findings and recommendations
- Provide guidance and support for generalization of skills within classroom settings
