Urgent: Hiring School Nurse

Sunbelt Staffing is seeking qualified LPNs and RNs for full-time school-based nursing opportunities in the Tampa, Florida area for the 2026-2027 school year. These positions offer the opportunity to support student health and wellness while working within a collaborative educational environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing services to students in a school setting
• Manage daily health room activities and student health needs
• Administer medications and treatments as directed
• Maintain accurate health records and documentation
• Collaborate with school staff, families, and healthcare providers
• Respond to student health concerns and emergencies as needed
• Float between school sites if necessary

Qualifications

• Active Florida LPN or RN License required
• Current CPR Certification required
• RNs must hold a BSN
• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience required
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Previous pediatric or school-based experience preferred
