Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Valid Physical Therapist license in Illinois
- Experience or strong interest in working with the K-12 population
- Knowledge of school-based therapy practices and IEP development
- Excellent communication, organization, and collaboration skills
- Demonstrated ability to adapt therapy plans for diverse student needs
Responsibilities:
- Deliver physical therapy services to students across elementary, middle, and high school settings
- Conduct assessments and observations to inform individualized treatment plans
- Participate as an active member of IEP teams, contributing expert insight for student support
- Design and implement therapy activities that correspond with educational goals
- Collaborate with educators, support staff, and families to promote students' access to the curriculum
- Monitor and document student progress, adjusting interventions as needed throughout the school year
