Inpatient IV Certified Pharmacy Technician in Sun Prairie, WI

An inpatient pharmacy team is seeking three experienced Pharmacy Technicians certified in IV preparation to support hospital pharmacy operations. This contract opportunity, starting September 14, involves working in a fast-paced inpatient setting where precision and medication safety are paramount. The assignment initially spans 13 weeks with a possibility of extension up to 26 weeks.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and dispense medications accurately according to hospital protocols
• Perform sterile and non-sterile compounding, including IV admixtures, ensuring compliance with safety standards
• Assist pharmacists in daily pharmacy operations including inventory management and medication distribution
• Collaborate effectively with healthcare teams to support inpatient medication therapy

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Pharmacy Technician certification with active IV certification
• Prior experience in hospital inpatient pharmacy preferred
