Step into an impactful and rewarding role working with students as a Speech-Language Pathologist on a full-time, contract basis, providing essential onsite services in a school setting near Orland Park, IL. This in-person position spans from ASAP through June 1, 2027, offering the opportunity to make a difference for students ranging in age from early childhood through young adulthood.

Utilize your expertise by collaborating with educational teams and families to develop and implement speech and language interventions that help students achieve their academic and personal goals. The onsite, school-based environment provides you with the chance to engage directly with students, participate in multi-disciplinary meetings, and witness positive change in their communication and learning.

Key Qualifications:

  • Holds a current Illinois SLP license
  • Possesses a valid Professional Educator License (PEL)
  • Experience working in schools or with pediatric through young adult populations is highly valued
  • Dedicated to fostering growth, communication, and inclusion for students with a range of speech and language needs
  • Able to commit to a full-time, onsite schedule (35 hours per week) through the duration of the contract

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver speech and language therapy services onsite to students aged 3–21, depending on school placement
  • Conduct assessments, develop Individualized Education Plans (IEPs), and document progress
  • Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to support student outcomes
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to a team-oriented approach
  • Adjust interventions to address the diverse needs of a school population
