The 2nd Shift Puller works in the warehouse picking department, operating a small motorized cart to locate and gather products and deliver them to designated packing stations. This role involves consistent movement throughout the warehouse, handling merchandise, and supporting efficient order fulfillment during a full 10+ hour shift.

Responsibilities
  • Operate a pack mule (small motorized cart) safely to move through the warehouse and reach designated picking areas.
  • Accurately pick products from warehouse locations according to order requirements and packing station needs.
  • Transport picked products to packing stations in a timely manner to support smooth shipping and packaging operations.
  • Handle basic packing, packaging, and shipping tasks as needed to support overall workflow in the picking department.
  • Follow established warehouse procedures for product handling, storage, and movement to maintain accuracy and organization.
  • Lift, carry, and move boxes and products throughout the shift while maintaining safe lifting techniques.
  • Remain on your feet and actively working for the full 10+ hour shift, including busy periods near the end of the day.
  • Adhere to the scheduled break structure, including a 30-minute lunch early in the shift and a 15-minute break in the afternoon.
  • Read and follow written instructions, order lists, and warehouse documentation accurately.
  • Participate in daily shift meetings to confirm shift details and review information posted by the order desk.
  • Maintain a clean and orderly work area within the warehouse and follow all safety and dress code guidelines.
  • Collaborate with a large team of warehouse staff to meet productivity and quality goals.
Essential Skills
  • At least 6 months of experience working in a warehouse environment.
  • Ability to stand and remain active on your feet for a full 10+ hour shift.
  • Experience with picking, packing, packaging, shipping, and general warehouse operations.
  • Ability to safely operate an electric pallet jack or similar warehouse equipment.
  • Ability to read and write English, including successfully completing a short written quiz.
  • Strong attention to detail to ensure accurate product picking and order fulfillment.
  • Ability to lift and move boxes and products safely throughout the shift.
  • Reliability and consistency in following established schedules, procedures, and safety rules.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
  • Comfort working in a large team environment with 30–60 people on shift.
  • English as a second language is welcome, with the ability to read and write English.
  • Previous experience in a climate-controlled warehouse is a plus.
  • Familiarity with using small motorized carts or similar equipment in a warehouse setting.
  • Willingness to work approximately 50 hours per week during busy periods.

Work Environment

The role is based in a clean, climate-controlled warehouse that distributes imprintable clothing items. You work on the 2nd shift in the picking department, typically Monday through Friday from 12:00 p.m. to approximately 8:30 p.m., with orientation on the first day starting at 9:15 a.m. and continuing through the end of the shift. Shifts are usually around 50 hours per week, and each day’s shift details are confirmed in a morning meeting and posted on a board by the order desk every evening. You work as part of a large team of 30–60 people, using equipment such as a pack mule (small motorized cart) and an electric pallet jack to move products around the warehouse. The break schedule includes a 30-minute lunch early in the shift and a 15-minute break in the afternoon, with no additional breaks as the pace of work increases toward the end of the day. The dress code requires close-toed shoes such as comfortable tennis shoes, along with jeans, shorts, or sweatpants that do not extend past fingertip length. Leggings are not permitted, and a t-shirt or sweatshirt is appropriate attire.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.09 - $20.09/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
