What We’re Seeking:
- Current, active South Carolina Teaching License
- Special Education Teacher credentials, with BOTH Special Education and Early Childhood Degree Certification required for preschool (3-4 years) position
- SPED Multi-Categorical endorsement for K-3 self-contained role
- Previous experience working with EC or K-3 students in special education settings preferred
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational abilities
- Adaptable and compassionate approach to teaching
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct instruction and individualized support for EC PCD (3-4yo) or ID Mild/Moderate Self-contained K-3 classroom
- Develop and implement IEPs tailored to each student’s strengths and needs
- Foster an inclusive, engaging, and positive classroom culture
- Collaborate with support staff, administrators, and families for comprehensive service delivery
- Monitor progress, maintain documentation, and participate actively in IEP meetings
