Job Summary
We are seeking a dependable Warehouse Specialist for a temp-to-hire opportunity in Portland, OR. This hands-on role supports daily warehouse operations, shipping and receiving, inventory control, material handling, and logistics coordination.
This is a strong opportunity for an experienced warehouse professional who enjoys variety, takes pride in accuracy, and wants to contribute to a team-focused operation. The Warehouse Specialist will work closely with field employees, vendors, managers, and office staff to ensure materials and equipment are received, organized, tracked, staged, and distributed efficiently. This role offers a supportive work environment, steady daily responsibilities, and the opportunity to become a valued part of a productive warehouse and logistics team.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive, inspect, organize, and distribute inventory, materials, parts, and equipment.
- Verify incoming orders against purchase and receiving documentation, and report damage, shortages, or discrepancies.
- Maintain accurate inventory records, conduct physical inventory counts, reconcile stock levels, and identify reorder needs.
- Prepare, stage, load, and secure materials for installations, service work, will-call pickups, deliveries, and field employee requests.
- Process returns, replacement material requests, inventory transfers, and miscellaneous logistics issues.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse while following all safety procedures and reporting equipment or vehicle maintenance needs.
Compensation and Benefits
- Pay: $21 to $24 per hour.
- Job Type: Temp-to-Hire.
