Key Qualifications:

  • Minimum of a Master's Degree from an accredited college or university
  • Active Colorado Department of Education Certification
  • Valid Colorado SLP License, Speech-Language Pathologist, Speech Connectionist, or Speech Therapist (ages birth through 21)
  • Previous pediatric or school-based experience is highly valued
  • Ability to efficiently complete school-district credentialing, including a background check via the district website
  • Strong teamwork skills and a commitment to collaborative student support

What You’ll Do:

  • Provide speech and language therapy to students with mild to moderate needs (exact caseload and schools to be determined)
  • Assess student speech, language, and communication abilities to develop and implement therapy plans
  • Participate actively in multidisciplinary team meetings and collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to facilitate student progress
  • Maintain accurate documentation and progress tracking in compliance with district and legal requirements
  • Support inclusive practices and contribute your expertise to build a positive and encouraging school environment
