Step into a meaningful opportunity to support students' communication growth as a Speech-Language Pathologist. This contract, full-time role allows you to make a lasting impact, guiding learners from early childhood through young adulthood (ages 3–21), depending on school assignment. As an in-person SLP, you’ll use your skills to foster positive outcomes and help students find their voice.

Key Requirements:

  • Active Illinois SLP license required
  • Professional Educator License (PEL)
  • Comfortable working onsite, five days a week
  • Available to start as soon as possible and continue through June 1, 2027
  • Experience or passion for working with students across a wide age range
  • Ability to collaborate with educators, families, and other professionals
  • Strong communication, documentation, and organizational skills

Core Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct speech and language therapy to eligible students
  • Conduct speech-language assessments and contribute to IEP development
  • Develop individualized treatment plans based on student needs and goals
  • Monitor progress and adjust interventions as necessary
  • Serve as a resource to school staff on communication, language, and related topics
  • Maintain timely and accurate records in compliance with school and district requirements
  • Actively participate in multidisciplinary team meetings
  • Foster a supportive, inclusive atmosphere within the educational environment
