Make a difference in the lives of students as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) supporting the work of a licensed SLP in a close-knit district near Sunnyvale, CA. This contract position gives you the chance to lend your expertise, all while enjoying a flexible, part-time schedule—just one day per week. The assignment begins as soon as possible and continues through the end of the school year.

What We're Looking For:

  • Active SLPA licensure in California
  • Previous experience in school settings, preferably with K-12 populations
  • Solid communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with SLPs and educational staff
  • Commitment to fostering an inclusive, supportive environment for students with speech and language needs
  • Ready to jump in and make an immediate impact

What You'll Do:

  • Work closely with the supervising SLP to support students’ individualized education plans
  • Assist in conducting speech-language screenings and implementing therapy activities as directed
  • Document student progress and maintain accurate records
  • Participate in team meetings when needed, providing valuable insight and updates
  • Adapt session materials for individualized instruction, ensuring each student receives targeted support
  • Help facilitate a positive learning atmosphere in a small district where every staff member’s contribution is valued
