Pay Rate: $24.23/hour

Shift:

• 1st Shift: 5:00 AM - 1:30 PM

Position Summary

The Heat Treat Helper assists with heat treatment processes for titanium, nickel-based alloys, stainless steel, and alloy steels. This role supports furnace operations, material handling, inspections, and general production activities while maintaining a strong commitment to safety and quality.

Key Responsibilities

• Load and unload furnaces

• Move parts on and off pallets

• Read and follow shop orders, specifications, and work instructions

• Place workpieces into heating furnaces for specified cycles

• Assist with hardness inspections and ASTM E140 conversion tables

• Prepare load couples

• Grind parts as needed

• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area

• Follow all company safety policies and procedures

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED

• 6 to 12 months of manufacturing, production, warehouse, or related experience preferred

• Ability to read and follow written instructions

• Basic math skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Forklift experience preferred

Physical Requirements

• Ability to frequently lift and move up to 50 pounds

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, crouch, and reach throughout the shift

• Ability to work in a manufacturing environment with heat, noise, dust, and moving equipment

Pay Details: $24.23 per hour
