Pay Rate: $24.23/hour
Shift:
1st Shift: 5:00 AM - 1:30 PM
The Heat Treat Helper assists with heat treatment processes for titanium, nickel-based alloys, stainless steel, and alloy steels. This role supports furnace operations, material handling, inspections, and general production activities while maintaining a strong commitment to safety and quality.
Key ResponsibilitiesLoad and unload furnaces
Move parts on and off pallets
Read and follow shop orders, specifications, and work instructions
Place workpieces into heating furnaces for specified cycles
Assist with hardness inspections and ASTM E140 conversion tables
Prepare load couples
Grind parts as needed
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area
Follow all company safety policies and procedures
High School Diploma or GED
6 to 12 months of manufacturing, production, warehouse, or related experience preferred
Ability to read and follow written instructions
Basic math skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Forklift experience preferred
Ability to frequently lift and move up to 50 pounds
Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, crouch, and reach throughout the shift
Ability to work in a manufacturing environment with heat, noise, dust, and moving equipment
Temp-to-Hire Opportunity

Pay Details: $24.23 per hour
