Desired Qualifications & Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Valid state licensure or eligibility for licensure
- Previous experience in a school-based setting is highly preferred
- Comfort working across a range of student ages and needs from preschool through high school
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with students, staff, and families
- Passion for fostering inclusive and supportive learning environments
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans
- Provide direct interventions for students with various speech and language disorders
- Collaborate closely with teachers, administrators, and families
- Document progress and maintain compliance with all special education requirements
- Participate in IEP and multidisciplinary team meetings
- Educate staff and families in strategies to support students’ communication goals
