Job Description
This role offers the opportunity to work in a highly industrial production environment where you will be cross-trained across multiple departments. You will support daily operations by loading and unloading rail, feeding machines with raw materials, and staging finished products, while consistently prioritizing safety and teamwork.
Responsibilities
- Load and unload rail cars and related materials in a safe and efficient manner.
- Feed machines with raw materials to support continuous production operations.
- Stage, organize, and move finished and in-process products to designated areas.
- Work across multiple departments and learn a variety of tasks as part of cross-training.
- Operate production machinery and equipment as directed, following established procedures.
- Use basic hand tools to support production, maintenance, and material handling tasks.
- Follow all safety policies, practices, and procedures at all times, making safety the top priority.
- Demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety and housekeeping standards throughout the work area.
- Work independently with minimal supervision as well as collaboratively within a team.
- Support production needs on off shifts, including 2nd and 3rd shifts, and work weekends and holidays as operating conditions require.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in accordance with housekeeping standards.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and teammates to ensure smooth workflow and timely completion of tasks.
Essential Skills
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a production environment.
- Willingness and ability to work off shifts, including 2nd and 3rd shifts, as well as weekends and holidays as required.
- Strong commitment to safety, with the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, and procedures.
- Knowledge and practical use of basic hand tools.
- Capability to perform general labor and production tasks in an industrial setting.
- Ability to operate or learn to operate production machinery and equipment.
- Comfort working in a loud, dusty, and dirty industrial environment, including outdoor conditions.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Experience in production, manufacturing, or general labor roles.
- Experience with machine operation in an industrial setting.
- Demonstrated ability to maintain high housekeeping standards in the workplace.
- Flexibility to be cross-trained in multiple departments and adapt to changing priorities.
- Strong work ethic and reliability in meeting shift and attendance requirements.
- Willingness to participate in ongoing training and development related to production and safety.

Job Type & LocationThis is a Permanent position based out of Camp Hill, PA.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $22.00 - $22.00/hr.
