Machine Operator Heat Treat Department

Location: Mansfield, TX
Pay: $19.00/hour
Shift: 1st Shift | MondayThursday | 4:30 AM3:00 PM

Position Overview

We are seeking a reliable and experienced Machine Operator to join the Heat Treat Department in a manufacturing environment. This position is responsible for loading and unloading parts from heat-treating equipment that processes tools and prepares them for the final stage of assembly.

The ideal candidate will have previous machine operating or manufacturing experience, strong attention to detail, and a commitment to safety and quality.

Key Responsibilities

  • Load and unload parts from heat-treating machines safely and efficiently.

  • Operate manufacturing equipment according to established procedures and production requirements.

  • Perform quality control inspections to ensure parts are properly processed and meet quality standards.

  • Identify flawed, damaged, or improperly processed parts and report quality issues to appropriate personnel.

  • Follow work instructions, safety procedures, and production guidelines.

  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.

  • Meet production goals while maintaining accuracy and quality.

  • Lift and move parts weighing up to 35 pounds.

  • Work effectively as part of a manufacturing team.

Requirements

  • Previous machine operator or manufacturing experience required.

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to identify quality issues.

  • Ability to stand and perform repetitive tasks throughout the shift.

  • Reliable transportation is required.

  • Strong attendance and punctuality are a must.

  • Must be willing to follow all safety and quality procedures.

  • Must successfully pass a drug test and background check.
