Industrial Electrical Technician
Job Description
The Industrial Electrical Technician builds, installs, and tests electrical systems for industrial equipment, ensuring that all control panels, wiring, and components meet strict quality and safety standards. This role works closely with other technicians and leadership to meet project deadlines while following detailed electrical schematics and company procedures.
Responsibilities- Build and install electrical control panels, conduit, and wiring during the manufacture of industrial equipment.
- Interpret and follow electrical schematics, prints, and component layouts to complete installations accurately.
- Collaborate with other technicians and management to plan work, coordinate tasks, and meet specific project deadlines.
- Implement inspections on new builds in accordance with company quality control processes and standards.
- Conduct tests on electrical circuits and components to detect faults, performance issues, or safety concerns.
- Troubleshoot electrical issues efficiently, identify root causes, and perform corrective actions.
- Ensure all work aligns with relevant safety standards and best practices for industrial electrical systems.
- Apply mechanical knowledge to support installation, maintenance, and repair of industrial equipment.
- Maintain organized, accurate documentation of electrical work performed, including test results and inspection findings.
- Keep the work area clean and orderly, and handle tools, materials, and equipment responsibly.
- At least 5 years of electrical experience in an industrial environment.
- Proficiency in reading and understanding electrical prints, schematics, and layout diagrams.
- Strong ability to detect, diagnose, and troubleshoot electrical issues effectively.
- Hands-on experience as an industrial electrician with a focus on adhering to safety standards.
- Mechanical knowledge related to various industrial applications and equipment.
- Solid electrical troubleshooting skills, including testing circuits and components.
- Ability to build and install electrical control panels, conduit, and wiring.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound technical decisions.
- High attention to detail to ensure accurate installations and thorough inspections.
- Ability to work collaboratively with technicians and management to meet deadlines.
- Experience implementing and following structured quality control processes.

Work EnvironmentThis role operates in an industrial manufacturing environment focused on building and assembling electrical systems for equipment. Work is hands-on and involves regular use of tools, electrical testing devices, and mechanical components. You will spend most of your time on the production floor, working around machinery, control panels, and wiring installations, following established safety practices and quality procedures. The schedule typically follows standard industrial working hours, with expectations to meet project deadlines and coordinate with other technicians and supervisors. Attire is practical and suitable for an industrial setting, with appropriate safety gear used as required.
Job Type & LocationThis is a Permanent position based out of Rose Hill, KS.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $52000.00 - $72800.00/yr.
Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
