Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current and valid SLP license
- Certification for school-based practice (if required by state)
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred
- Previous experience working with elementary-aged children is a plus
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with teachers, parents, and support staff
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech, language, and communication assessments for students
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Deliver direct therapy services to students, adapting interventions as needed
- Monitor student progress and maintain accurate documentation
- Collaborate with educators and families to foster student success
