Job Description

Key Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid credentials or certification required for Special Education teaching
- Demonstrated experience with early childhood or PreK students strongly preferred

- Strong written and verbal communication skills for partnering with families and multidisciplinary teams
- Ability to create and adapt individualized education plans (IEPs)
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide tailored instructional support to a small caseload of four early learners
- Develop, implement, and monitor IEPs in collaboration with other educators and families
- Cultivate an inclusive, nurturing classroom to foster social, emotional, and academic growth
- Engage actively with Head Start and PreK program goals, ensuring compliance with all regulations and best practices
- Participate in team and staff meetings as well as ongoing training opportunities
