Special Education Teacher in Brownsburg, IN

Key Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Special Education or a related field
• Valid teaching certification in special education for Indiana (or eligibility to obtain)
• Previous experience with early elementary grades (K-2 preferred)
• Strong understanding of IEP development and progress monitoring
• Collaborative spirit to partner with families and multidisciplinary teams
• Excellent communication, classroom management, and organizational skills

Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and adapt instruction for a diverse group of 8 students with varying learning needs
• Develop and maintain IEPs, ensure compliance, and document student progress
