Seeking a passionate and skilled Occupational Therapist for a rewarding part-time opportunity delivering direct, in-person services in a vibrant school environment near Los Angeles, CA. Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Current and valid California OT license
- Previous experience as a school-based Occupational Therapist
- Proficient in implementing and documenting Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with staff, students, and families
- Ability to develop and deliver student-centered interventions tailored to individual needs
- Commitment to fostering inclusive learning environments
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct, in-person OT services to students as outlined in their IEPs
- Assess and evaluate students’ functional abilities in the educational setting
- Develop treatment plans and interventions to enhance students’ participation and performance
- Maintain accurate documentation and timely progress reports
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including educators and support staff
- Participate in IEP meetings, sharing expertise and input on student progress and recommendations
