Step into a rewarding role supporting students as a Speech Language Pathologist in an elementary school setting near Lynnwood, WA. This onsite, part-time position (0.4 FTE) offers the chance to make a meaningful difference for young learners, working in a collaborative educational environment. You’ll assess, diagnose, and develop intervention plans for students who need speech and language services, helping them achieve their fullest potential in a supportive school community.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution
  • Possession of current SLP licensure or eligibility for licensure in Washington State
  • Valid Washington State ESA (Educational Staff Associate) certification, or ability to obtain
  • Previous experience working in a school or pediatric setting preferred
  • Familiarity with IEP development and progress reporting
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Commitment to cultural responsiveness and sensitivity

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments and screenings to identify students in need of speech/language intervention
  • Develop, implement, and monitor individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Provide direct speech and language therapy services to students
  • Work collaboratively with classroom teachers, families, and other school staff to support student growth
  • Maintain accurate records and comply with state and federal guidelines
  • Participate in relevant meetings and contribute to a positive school climate
