We are looking for an FP& A Analyst to join a finance team in Irvine, California on a Contract basis. This role is ideal for someone who is detail oriented and can strengthen budgeting and forecasting processes, build meaningful financial insights, and support ongoing planning initiatives in a dynamic environment. The position offers the opportunity to work closely with finance leadership and contribute to both core reporting activities and special analytical projects.

Responsibilities:
• Lead recurring budgeting and forecasting activities, delivering timely updates that support business planning and financial decision-making.
• Take ownership of expanding the NetSuite Planning and Budgeting environment, including configuration support, process rollout, and practical adoption across finance workflows.
• Develop financial models, dashboards, and management reports that translate data into actionable business insights.
• Partner with finance team members to evaluate trends, explain variances, and improve the accuracy of forward-looking projections.
• Use advanced Excel tools to perform analysis and reporting for needs that are not yet fully supported within the planning system.
• Support ad hoc finance initiatives by gathering data, assessing business performance, and presenting clear recommendations to stakeholders.
• Help refine planning and reporting processes to improve consistency, efficiency, and visibility across the organization.• Hands-on experience in FP& A with a strong background in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
• Practical knowledge of NetSuite, including exposure to planning, budgeting, or related financial systems functionality.
• Advanced Excel skills with the ability to build models, analyze complex datasets, and create clear reporting outputs.
• Experience producing management reports, dashboards, and ad hoc analyses for finance or business leaders.
• Strong understanding of annual budget preparation and variance analysis.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a Contract role while working effectively with cross-functional stakeholders.
• Clear communication skills and the ability to present financial information in a concise, business-focused manner.
