You’ll support a split caseload of grade 2 and grade 5 students (approximately 15 students total) across two school locations, focusing on both direct teaching and case management. The position is slated for August 2026 through June 2027, offering the stability of a full academic year.
Qualifications:
- Valid special education teaching certification for New Hampshire (or eligibility for reciprocal certification)
- Bachelor’s degree in Special Education or a related field (Master’s preferred)
- Previous experience managing elementary caseloads, IEP development, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams
- Strong communication and organizational skills
Responsibilities:
- Provide specialized instruction and manage IEPs for 2nd and 5th-grade students
- Serve on a rotating basis between two school sites
- Collaborate closely with general educators, families, and support services to promote student progress
- Maintain accurate records, participate in meetings, and ensure compliance with educational standards
