Step into a pivotal role supporting students with Autism Spectrum Disorder in a dynamic K-12 environment. We're seeking a skilled ABA professional for an onsite, full-time contract position running from August 24, 2026, through June 10, 2027, serving as a Behavioral Specialist and ABA Therapist. This opportunity features a 35-hour workweek within a collaborative school district environment.

Responsibilities include:

  • Training new staff in general instructional practices for students with Autism
  • Delivering targeted training to all staff on individual student behavior plans
  • Leading refresher training sessions on updated practices and procedures for returning staff
  • Helping establish Verbal Repertoires (VRs) for students and modeling evidence-based strategies in classrooms
  • Providing support on Year 1 topics: scheduling, assessment, and logistic planning
  • Facilitating building-wide training sessions to review IEPs, BIPs, and key documentation
  • Being present and available to staff, students, and administrators during the critical start-of-year period
  • Working in partnership with consultants to ensure compliance with district best-practices and guidelines
  • Conducting in-vivo coaching sessions and providing corrective feedback to ensure strategy fidelity
  • Promoting skill transfer from anchor classrooms to other autism support settings across the district
  • Supporting the implementation and monitoring of individualized student programs

Qualifications and experience:

  • Current Pennsylvania certification in Special Education or a closely related field
  • Experience in ABA and autism support, preferably within an urban school setting
  • Proven knowledge of evidence-based instructional approaches for ASD
  • Ability to work onsite, with a consistent schedule between 7:15AM and 4PM
  • Completion of PA clearances prior to start
  • Reliable transportation and readiness to work in the location specified
  • Willingness to participate in a Zoom interview
