Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
- CCC preferred; strong consideration given to those currently holding or pursuing the credential
- Experience working with elementary-aged children in a school or similar setting
- Strong foundational knowledge in speech, language, and communication disorders
- Excellent communication skills for partnering with educators, families, and other professionals
- Ability to organize and manage a diverse caseload effectively while maintaining regulatory compliance
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess and diagnose speech, language, and communication needs of elementary students
- Develop individualized education plans (IEPs) and targeted therapeutic interventions
- Deliver direct and consultative speech-language therapy services in both individual and group settings
- Collaborate closely with teachers, administrators, and caregivers to support student success
- Monitor and document student progress, adjusting interventions as needed
- Facilitate student participation in classroom activities through effective communication strategies
