Job Summary:
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Occupational Therapist to join our rehabilitation team at Lake Placid Health and Rehabilitation Center in Lake Placid, FL. As an Occupational Therapist, you will play a vital role in helping our patients regain independence and reach their full potential.
Responsibilities:
Evaluate and assess patients' physical and mental abilities to create personalized therapy plans
Develop and implement creative and effective therapy strategies to improve mobility, strength, and cognitive function
Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care and achieve optimal patient outcomes
Conduct daily therapy sessions, documenting patient progress and adjusting treatment plans as needed
Educate patients and their families on proper techniques and strategies for continued recovery and wellness
Requirements:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
Current licensure as an Occupational Therapist in the state of Florida
0+ years of experience in a skilled nursing facility or related setting
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to lift, transfer, and assist patients with physical disabilities
Strong observation and assessment skills with attention to detail
