At Southwestern Nursing & Rehabilitation Center, we are dedicated to helping our residents achieve their highest level of independence and quality of life. We are currently seeking a compassionate and motivated Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our rehabilitation team.

As a PTA, you will work under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist to provide individualized treatment programs that promote mobility, restore function, and improve overall well-being. This is an excellent opportunity to make a meaningful impact while working alongside a supportive interdisciplinary team.

What You'll Do

• Provide physical therapy treatments under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist.

• Assist in implementing individualized treatment plans based on each resident's goals and clinical needs.

• Monitor resident progress and communicate changes to the supervising Physical Therapist.

• Accurately document treatments, patient responses, and progress in accordance with facility and regulatory guidelines.

• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, occupational therapists, speech therapists, and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive, patient-centered care.

• Educate residents and caregivers on therapeutic exercises, mobility techniques, and safety practices.

• Help maintain a safe, clean, and positive therapy environment.

What We're Looking For

• Current Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) license in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• Excellent organizational and documentation abilities.

• A compassionate, patient-focused approach to care.

• Skilled nursing or long-term care experience is preferred but not required.
