Our services now extend beyond heating and cooling to include electrical work, water heaters, and water treatment.If you're an experienced technician who takes pride in preventative maintenance, enjoys working with homeowners, and wants an opportunity to grow with a company that invests in its employees, this could be a great fit.Compensation$19-$27 per hour starting rateCommission opportunitiesTypical annual earnings of $50,000-$75,000Overtime availableCompany-paid support for continued education and NATE certificationScheduleMonday-FridayTypical start time: 7:30 AMSome nights and weekends may be scheduledAfter-hours service is available 24/7, so schedule flexibility is importantWhat You'll Be DoingYou'll help homeowners keep their HVAC systems operating efficiently and reliably through thorough preventative maintenance.Responsibilities include:Service and maintain residential HVAC systems across multiple makes and modelsClean coils, drains, and other system componentsInspect electrical connections, motors, thermostats, and overall equipment operationCheck refrigerant pressures and identify potential system concernsKeep accurate records of inspections, maintenance performed, and customer interactionsCommunicate findings and recommendations clearly and professionallyMaintain appropriate parts and supplies in your assigned vehicleKeep tools, equipment, and your vehicle in good working conditionFollow established safety practices on every jobRepresent Sunshine professionally in every customer interactionWhat We're Looking ForWe're seeking someone dependable and customer-focused who can work confidently in residential environments.You should have:Previous experience in residential HVAC maintenanceUniversal EPA certification or Type IIWorking knowledge of electrical and refrigeration systemsValid driver's license with an insurable driving recordAbility to safely operate hand and power toolsAbility to work from a 12-foot extension ladder and 8-foot step ladderAbility to work in heat, cold, and other challenging weather conditionsStrong verbal and written communicationGood customer service skillsAbility to follow written and verbal instructionsStrong attention to detail and analytical thinkingStable employment historyRequired hand toolsPreferred:HVAC technical school completionKnowledge of applicable local codes and ordinancesNATE certificationDon't have NATE yet?
