We are seeking an Industrial/Commercial Electrical Journeyman to join our growing team. In this role, you'll work alongside experienced electricians to complete a variety of industrial and commercial electrical projects while delivering high-quality workmanship and exceptional customer service.

Compensation will be determined based on the candidate's experience and qualifications.

Compensation:

$32 - $38 hourly


Responsibilities:
  • Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair industrial and commercial electrical systems and equipment.
  • Inspect electrical systems and components to ensure compliance with applicable codes and safety standards.
  • Diagnose and repair motors, motor controls, and industrial control systems.
  • Install raceways, conduit, cable tray systems, panelboards, transformers, motors, VFDs, and soft starters.
  • Pull, terminate, and test wiring, conduit, and electrical equipment.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, electrical schematics, drawings, and technical manuals.
  • Perform preventative maintenance on electrical systems and equipment.
  • Safely operate electrical tools and equipment, including threaders, conduit benders, tuggers, and other specialty tools.
  • Troubleshoot electrical issues using sound problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
  • Follow all company policies and OSHA safety regulations.
  • This position is safety sensitive.

Qualifications:
  • Compensation is based on the candidate's experience, skills, and qualifications.
  • Valid Journeyman Electrician License, where required.
  • Proven experience in industrial and/or commercial electrical work.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical theory, electrical systems, and the National Electrical Code (NEC).
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, electrical schematics, and wiring diagrams.
  • Experience using hand tools, power tools, and electrical testing equipment.
  • Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Must be dependable, detail-oriented, and committed to quality workmanship.
  • Ability to perform the physical demands of the position, including lifting, climbing ladders, and working in various indoor and outdoor environments.
  • Willingness to travel out of town during the workweek as project needs require.
  • Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
