Job Overview
We are hiring experienced Steel Welders for a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This position involves MIG welding, reading blueprints, and producing steel components used in industrial equipment. This is a hands-on production role working with welding equipment and fabrication tools.
Responsibilities
- Perform MIG welding on steel parts in a production setting
- Read and follow blueprints and work instructions
- Set up and operate welding equipment
- Inspect finished parts to ensure quality standards are met
- Perform basic equipment checks and change-overs
- Maintain a clean and safe work area
- Follow all safety procedures and PPE requirements
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of welding experience
- MIG welding experience required
- Ability to read blueprints
- Experience working with steel fabrication preferred
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Ability to stand for long periods
- Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
