Registered Dietitian (RD) – Skilled Nursing Facility

A 364-bed Skilled Nursing Facility located in Riverdale, Bronx, NY is seeking a Registered Dietitian (RD) to join our team.

The Registered Dietitian will be responsible for assessing residents’ nutritional needs, developing and implementing care plans, and ensuring compliance with all federal and state regulations.

Responsibilities:

• Complete nutritional assessments for all residents upon admission and as required
• Develop, implement, and monitor individualized care plans
• Work closely with interdisciplinary team including nursing, dietary, and physicians
• Monitor weight, labs, and overall nutritional status
• Ensure compliance with DOH and CMS regulations
• Participate in care plan meetings
• Provide nutrition education to residents, families, and staff
• Conduct regular audits and maintain accurate documentation

Requirements:

• Registered Dietitian (RD) credential required
• Experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility preferred
• Strong knowledge of clinical nutrition and regulatory standards
• Excellent communication and organizational skills

Salary & Benefits:

• $70,000 – $90,000 annually (based on experience)
