Education Facilities Commercial Electrician (JLA‑Cleared)

About the Role

Picture your morning: it’s 6:30 AM on an active Jacksonville school campus. You check in with the site lead, review the day’s blueprints, and map out your conduit runs before students arrive. By mid-morning, you’re installing devices and fixtures, landing terminations in panels, and troubleshooting a stubborn circuit—always coordinating with school staff to keep the occupied facility safe and uninterrupted. That’s a typical day with Advanced Trade Services (ATS).

Project & Scope

• Active school-site commercial electrical work in Jacksonville, FL
• New installations, upgrades, troubleshooting, and repairs
• Blueprint interpretation; panel work; device/fixture setting
• Conduit installation and low-voltage wiring
• Safe, efficient operations in occupied or semi-occupied environments

Must-Haves

• Current JLA badge/clearance (or the ability to obtain promptly)
• 4+ years of commercial electrical experience
• OSHA-10 certification or willingness to attain
• Journeyman, Master, or state certification preferred
• Start-of-day readiness for a 6:30 AM kickoff
• Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus

Compensation & Continuity

• W-2 employment with weekly pay
• Consistent commercial assignments through ATS (nationwide trade staffing)
• Opportunity for additional placements following project completion

• Reliable transportation, able to pass drug screen and background check
