Food Service Substitute 2026-2027

Pay: $11.35 hour Qualifications: The qualified applicant must have a minimum of a high school diploma or grade level equivalent diploma (GED), be able to pass a background check and lift up to 50 lbs. frequentlyRoles and Responsibilities may include, but not limited to:Float between buildings where needed. Follow recipes and use kitchen scales and measuring utensils to prepare mealsMaintain inventoryClean and store utensils, trays, pans and kitchen equipmentPortion and serve food to students and staffClean lunchroom, kitchen and equipment after useMaintain high degree of sanitationEstablish and maintain cooperative working relationships with students, staff and others contacted in the course of workMaintain confidentiality of information regarding students, employees and othersAttend work regularly and promptlyMust have reliable transportationOther duties as assignedPhysical Requirements: Bending, carrying, climbing, driving, lifting, pushing/pulling, reaching, sitting, standing, walkingThe Fort Madison Community School District is an EEO/AA employer
