We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) to join our team at Riverwood Health and Rehabilitation, a renowned healthcare provider in Starke, Florida. About the Role:

As a COTA, you will work closely with our occupational therapists to design and implement individualized treatment plans that promote independence, mobility, and overall well-being for our patients. Your expertise will be essential in helping patients regain their functional abilities and reach their full potential. You will work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, providing high-quality care to patients of all ages and backgrounds.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist occupational therapists in developing and implementing treatment plans to improve patient outcomes

  • Conduct occupational therapy interventions, including exercises, activities, and education, to promote patient independence and mobility

  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care coordination

  • Participate in patient assessments, evaluations, and progress reports to inform treatment plans

  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient care and treatment

Requirements:

  • Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) degree

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a healthcare setting

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks

Salary: $33 - $38 hourly based on employment status and years of experience
