Overview:
We're seeking an Electrical Engineer who enjoys solving real-world automation challenges and working with advanced motion control technologies. This role offers the opportunity to work hands-on with servo motors, drives, controllers, and multi-axis systems supporting robotics, industrial automation, and other cutting-edge applications.
Job Duties:
- Support servo motors, drives, controllers, and motion control systems
- Perform testing, validation, and performance optimization
- Tune multi-axis servo systems for customer applications
- Troubleshoot electrical and motion control issues
- Support system integration, commissioning, and customer projects
- Create and maintain engineering documentation
- Evaluate third-party components for compatibility
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on product and application development
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering
- 2+ years of experience in electrical engineering, automation, robotics, or mechatronics
- Experience with motors, servo drives, or motion control systems
- Understanding of control systems and servo tuning
- Familiarity with C++, C#, Python, or similar programming languages
- Exposure to EtherCAT, EtherNet/IP, Modbus, or similar industrial networks
Preferred:
- Experience with electrical test equipment and instrumentation
- Strong troubleshooting and communication skills
- Familiarity with CAD, ERP, or engineering software tools
