Electro-Mechanical Assembler & Materials Coordinator
Job Description
Champion Personnel is recruiting for a Streetsboro manufacturer known for designing and producing power distribution equipment. Join as an Electro-Mechanical Assembler & Materials Coordinator and turn plans into precision-built products while keeping materials flowing on the floor.
Compensation & Schedule- Pay: $20–$21 per hour
- 1st Shift: Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM–2:30 PM
- 2nd Shift: Monday–Thursday, 2:00 PM–12:30 AM
You clock in, review the day’s work instructions, and set up your bench. Using hand and power tools, you prepare parts, read blueprints, and assemble electrical and mechanical components with care. Between builds, you stage materials, move pallets, and keep production cells stocked so the line never slows. You record inventory movements, double-check measurements, and pitch in with your team to hit quality targets—every unit leaving your area meets exacting standards.
What You’ll Do- Assemble mechanical components and electrical subassemblies per blueprints and work instructions
- Use hand/power tools and measuring devices to complete builds and verify accuracy
- Prepare, stage, and replenish parts; transport materials throughout the facility
- Maintain inventory accuracy to support smooth, efficient production
- Work safely on your feet and lift up to 50 lbs as needed
- Experience in manufacturing, assembly, warehouse, or material handling
- Comfort with tools, prints, and measurement (tape, gauges, etc.)
- Reliable, mechanically inclined, and team-oriented in a fast-paced environment
- Steel-toe boots required
Requirements include the ability to pass a 10-panel drug screen and 7-year criminal background check.
