About the Role

The Speech-Language Pathologist SLP is responsible for assessing, diagnosing, and treating patients with communication and swallowing disorders. This is a full-time opportunity for a dedicated and compassionate professional to join our team in Florence, AL.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients' speech, language, and swallowing abilities
• Develop and implement effective treatment plans to address patients' communication and swallowing disorders
• Provide individual and group therapy sessions to patients with a range of conditions, including stroke, traumatic brain injury, and developmental disabilities
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including physicians and occupational therapists, to ensure comprehensive care
• Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient assessments, treatments, and progress
• Stay up-to-date with best practices and continuing education requirements to advance your skills and knowledge

Requirements:

• Master's or Doctoral degree in Speech-Language Pathology
• ASHA certification or eligibility
• New graduates and experienced candidates welcome

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with flexibility and adaptability
