School Nurse Position Description- Full Time assignment
· 1:1 School Nurse- Working with one student in a classroom setting
School Nurse Requirements:
· Valid NYS Licensed Practical Nurse & Registration
· PHYSICAL (within 12 months)
· PPD (Within a year; chest x-ray if positive)
· Immunizations Titer Levels (measles, mumps, and rubella)
· CPR Card (BLS or ACLS)
· Malpractice Insurance
· Fingerprints for NY State (IDENTOGO)/Department of Education
- pediatric experience
