Location: Greenwood Center for Nursing and Rehab – Tamaqua, PA
Shift: Full-Time
Greenwood Center for Nursing and Rehab is seeking a dedicated Registered Dietitian (RD) to join our skilled nursing facility in Tamaqua, PA. This role involves implementing, coordinating, and evaluating medical nutrition therapy, providing education to residents and families, and supporting the planning and delivery of the facility’s food and nutritional services.
Salary: Negotiable based on experience
Key ResponsibilitiesConduct preliminary and comprehensive dietary assessments for residents
Develop individualized dietary care plans that identify resident needs, dietary concerns, and measurable goals
Engage residents and families in the development and review of care plans
Ensure dietary staff understand and utilize resident care plans when providing daily services
Review resident medical records and recommend appropriate medical nutrition therapy
Ensure care plans identify any special equipment or utensils residents may require
Collaborate with nursing, dietary, and other interdisciplinary team members to support quality resident outcomes
Licensed Registered Dietitian (RD)
Minimum of two years of experience as a professional dietitian in long-term care with some administrative responsibility, or one year of experience as a registered consulting dietitian serving one or more long-term care facilities
Strong communication, organizational, and clinical skills
Ability to work effectively with residents, families, and interdisciplinary team members
