Job Summary:

We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Occupational Therapist to join our team at Shore Acres Care Center in St. Petersburg, Florida. As a key member of our rehab team, you will play a vital role in helping our residents achieve their maximum potential and live their lives to the fullest.

Occupational Therapist Responsibilities:

• Conduct screenings of residents as scheduled to determine the need for evaluation and/or intervention

• Evaluate residents per physician orders to obtain comprehensive data to be utilized in developing the plan of care

• Provide Occupational Therapy treatment to residents when indicated per the plan of care

• Supervise Occupational Therapy Assistants (OTAs) and Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTAs)

• Actively engage and contribute to the success of the rehab department, IDT, and facility success

Occupational Therapist Job Qualifications:

• Minimum of Bachelor of Science in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program

• Current Florida Occupational Therapy License

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Excellent organizational and time management skills

• Must be computer/tech savvy
