Position SummaryWe are currently seeking a Licensed Psychologist to serve as our lead diagnostician. In this role, you will conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations to diagnose Autism Spectrum Disorder and other developmental or psychological conditions in children and adolescents. You will work closely with families, providers, and clinical teams to ensure timely, accurate diagnoses that inform individualized treatment plans.
This position offers flexibility and can be fulfilled remotely or in person. Evaluations may be conducted via telehealth when clinically appropriate. This role is ideal for someone passionate about early identification, skilled in standardized testing, and who thrives in a collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct diagnostic evaluations including structured interviews, standardized testing (ADOS-2, CARS, ASRS, BASC-3, M-CHAT), and behavioral observations.
- Review developmental histories and collateral documentation to inform diagnostic impressions.
- Generate comprehensive diagnostic reports with clear treatment recommendations and referrals when appropriate.
- Consult with families regarding evaluation outcomes, next steps, and clinical supports.
- Collaborate with BCBAs, RBTs, and Program Managers to ensure a coordinated approach to care.
- Maintain HIPAA compliance and professional documentation standards.
- Stay current with DSM-5 criteria, state licensure requirements, and best practices in autism diagnosis.
- Doctoral degree (Ph.D. or Psy.D.) in Psychology from an accredited program.
- Active licensure as a Psychologist in Georgia.
- Trained and certified to administer ADOS-2, ASRS, CARS, and other standardized ASD assessments.
- Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
- Reliable internet connection (for remote positions).
- Reliable transportation (for in-person positions).
