Position OverviewAs a PTA, you’ll work under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist to help patients improve strength, mobility, and independence. You’ll play a key role in guiding recovery and promoting better quality of life.
Key Responsibilities:
Carry out physical therapy treatment plans designed by the PT
Assist patients with therapeutic exercises and functional training
Monitor and document patient progress
Educate patients and caregivers on home exercises and safety
Collaborate with rehab staff to adjust care plans as needed
Maintain a safe, supportive treatment environment
Qualifications:
Active IL PTA license (or eligibility to obtain)
Current BLS certification
At least 1 year of experience in a clinical setting preferred
Strong communication and teamwork skills
