We are seeking an experienced Sheet Metal Shop Foreman to oversee daily operations at our shop in Springfield, MO. This leadership role will manage sheet metal production, coordinate fabrication work, and ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to our quality standards.
The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with CNC equipment and HVACR ductwork fabrication, along with the leadership skills to guide a team and maintain a safe, organized, and productive shop.

Compensation will be determined based on the candidate's experience and qualifications.
Compensation:$40 - $41 hourly
Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage day-to-day sheet metal shop production, ensuring work is properly assigned, prioritized, and completed on schedule.
- Coordinate fabrication activities and workflow to meet project deadlines, production goals, and quality expectations.
- Oversee the safe and efficient operation of CNC Laser, CNC Plasma, and CNC Waterjet equipment.
- Direct HVACR ductwork fabrication and ensure finished products meet project specifications and company quality standards.
- Develop, review, and verify HVAC ductwork estimates to support project planning and production.
- Monitor shop productivity, material usage, equipment needs, and overall workflow to identify opportunities for improvement.
- Inspect completed fabrication work for accuracy, quality, and compliance with project requirements.
- Work closely with project managers, field personnel, and other departments to coordinate fabrication schedules and project needs.
- Promote and enforce company safety policies, procedures, and applicable OSHA requirements throughout the shop.
- Provide hands-on leadership, training, and support to shop employees while encouraging accountability, teamwork, and quality craftsmanship.
- Help troubleshoot fabrication, equipment, and production issues to minimize delays and maintain efficient operations.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and productive shop environment.
- This position is safety sensitive.
Qualifications:
- Previous leadership or supervisory experience in a sheet metal, fabrication, or similar shop environment.
- Strong hands-on experience with sheet metal fabrication processes and equipment.
- Experience operating and/or overseeing CNC Laser, CNC Plasma, and CNC Waterjet equipment.
- Demonstrated experience with HVACR ductwork layout, fabrication, and production.
- Experience preparing, reviewing, or assisting with HVAC ductwork estimates.
- Ability to read and interpret fabrication drawings, specifications, measurements, and project documentation.
- Strong understanding of shop production, workflow planning, quality control, and fabrication best practices.
- Proven ability to lead employees, delegate work, manage priorities, and keep production on schedule.
- Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot equipment and fabrication issues.
- Excellent communication, organization, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
- Commitment to maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.
- OSHA 10 Certification required.
- Class E Driver's License required.
