We are seeking a Per Diem SPEECH THERAPIST/ SPEECH LANGAUAGE PATHOLOGIST (SLP/CCC) to join our team who is a dynamic clinician and team player.

EXCELLENT PER DIEM RATES STARTING AT $55.00

Lexington Health and Rehab Center offers a supportive environment with a compassionate rehab team which is led by an experienced Director of Rehabilitation. The rehab department utilizes Net Health-Therapy and Point Click Care for billing and documentation to assist Speech therapists with daily efficiency where quality care remains the primary focus of each therapist. The facility offers a 6-day a week, in-house comprehensive rehabilitation program where the Speech Therapist/Speech Language Pathologist is an integral member of the interdisciplinary team. Our rehab positions are stable and secure at one location. Each rehab department offers a spacious gym.

SPEECH THERAPIST JOB SUMMARY

• Speech Therapist conducts screenings of residents as scheduled to determine the need for ST evaluation and/or ST intervention.

• Speech Therapist evaluates residents per physician orders to obtain comprehensive data to be utilized in developing the ST plan of care for swallowing, communication and/or cognition.

• Speech Therapist provides Speech Therapy treatment to residents when indicated per the ST plan of care.

• Speech Therapist actively engage and contribute to the success of the rehab department, IDT and facility success.

SPEECH THERAPIST JOB QUALIFICATIONS

• Minimum of Masters in Speech Language Pathology from an accredited program

• A current Florida Speech Therapy Pathology License

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Excellent organizational and time management skills

• Must be computer/tech savvy.

• Experience with Swallowing Disorders and bedside swallow evaluation
